Care that fits life with a newborn
Bring your baby with you. Feeds, cuddles and pauses are all fine, and we work at whatever pace the day allows.
We look at how you are moving through the day: feeding positions, lifting the pram, carrying on one hip. Then we work out together what would help you feel more comfortable.
Looking after the whole of you
Early parenthood is physical and emotional. I take both seriously, and if something needs your GP or child and family health nurse, I will say so.
How to start
Everyone begins with a free initial assessment: about 30 minutes of conversation and a thorough look at your whole picture. There is no treatment at this visit. At your second visit I take you through what I found and the plan I recommend, and we do your first full treatment ($95).
Common questions
- How soon after birth can I come in?
- Whenever you feel ready. If you had a caesarean or a complicated birth, it helps to check in with your GP or obstetrician first, and let me know when you book.
- Can my baby be seen too?
- Yes. Care for babies is very gentle, led by what feels right for you and your child, and never involves spinal manipulation. Each person starts with their own free assessment.
