The content on this website is general in nature and provided for information only. It is not medical or health advice and is not a substitute for an individual consultation with a qualified health practitioner. Using this website does not create a practitioner and patient relationship.
This website is not monitored for urgent matters. If you or someone else needs urgent medical help, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department.
No guaranteed outcomes
Chiropractic care is individual. Responses to care vary from person to person, and no particular result or outcome is promised or guaranteed. Any general statements about how care may help are not a prediction of your individual result.
In line with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, this website does not publish patient testimonials about clinical care.
Your practitioner
Care is provided by Dr Lucy Lex (Chiropractor), registered with the Chiropractic Board of Australia through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Dr Lucy Lex holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic. In Australia, the courtesy title “Dr” is used by registered chiropractors and does not indicate registration as a medical practitioner.
Free initial assessment
The free initial assessment is a genuine first visit of approximately 30 minutes: a consultation and a thorough assessment only. No treatment is given at this visit. It is available to new patients, limited to one per person, has no cash value and is not transferable. It carries no obligation to book or purchase any further care.
The same terms apply to printed gift vouchers for a free initial assessment. Vouchers are valid for the period printed on them.
Our treatment fees are the same for every patient, whether or not they started with a free assessment. The cost of the assessment is not added to any later visit or plan.
If the assessment indicates that chiropractic care is not right for you, or that another practitioner would serve you better, we will tell you honestly. Any care beyond the initial assessment is charged at the fees displayed at the time of booking.
Bookings and appointments
Appointments are booked through Halaxy, our secure third-party booking platform, and Halaxy’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to the booking process. You will receive a confirmation once your appointment is held, and there is no obligation to proceed with any further care.
Cancellation policy
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice so the time can be offered to someone else.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged the full appointment fee.
Fees and payment
Fees for appointments are shown at the time of booking and are payable at the time of your appointment. Chiropractic care may attract private health fund rebates depending on your cover; please check with your fund.
Health information
Any personal and health information you provide is collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Appointments for children
An appointment for a child must be booked by a parent or guardian, who consents to care on the child’s behalf and confirms they have the authority to do so. A parent or guardian must accompany a child to their appointments.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and images on this website are owned by or licensed to Dr Lucy Lex and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
Third-party links and services
This website links to services operated by others, including our booking platform. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you use it applies.
